Dr. Seymour is well-known as a top doctor in the Merrimack Valley and has been practicing gastroenterology and hepatology there for over 15 years. Funny giving highest review when one thinks about mainly the prep. With that said when I spoke to staff about issue I had with puking) they were all concerned and empathetic and gave me wonderful care. Dr. Marinelli and his staff of medical professionals that care for you before and after your colonoscopy procedure are the best of the best. They are kind, considerate, ask all the right questions and make sure you are comfortable with the upcoming procedure, including sedation. Then Dr. Marinelli appears to check in you are comfortable, answer any questions you may have and inform you about the risks that are low and outnumber the benefits of having your colon screening test done. For anyone wondering, the procedure is painless and fast with a short recovery period. My appointment was at 7:00 am and by 8:10 am, I I was awake and enjoying a glass of water. My experience with a colonoscopy and endoscopy was painless, quick and easy. All staff made sure I was comfortable at all times. Doctor explained to me how everything was going to go. I was brought into the procedure room, spoke to the anesthesiologist and before I knew it I was out cold and woke up in recovery room. Entire duration for both procedures was just under 10 minutes total. I was very nervous about these procedures and it was way easier and went better then I ever thought. The nurse introduced herself to me and helped me get ready for the procedure. The anesthesia nurse was next and she went over my history and what was going to happen during the procedure. After I had changed into the gown Dr. Kennedy came over to discuss what they were looking for with this procedure and what was going to happen during the procedure. Once he confirmed that everything was understood he said I’d see him shortly in the procedure room. Once in the room everything was explained again regarding the anesthesia and we proceeded. I met Dr.Chu a couple of years ago, after I had been scheduled for an endoscopy due to some horrible symptoms I was experiencing for some time at the time. She switched my medication and I started getting better after almost 6 months of suffering. She became my main doctor since and I was amazed with her high degree of knowledge and professionalism. She is always happy to help, very kind and compassionate, and always smiling. She keeps up with new research and is always doing her best to help. My symptoms started improving since and I am able to be back to normal thanks to her. She is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Everything you want your doctor to be. Doctor marinelli saved my life, diagnosing me with hepatitis c chronic back in 2004 basically told me to stay on my regiment of no alcohol and exercise eat and drink is sensibly as I could and keep that liver going although I was chronic I was stable he continually monitored me for years also sending me to Lori Welch who is basically the best psychologist I have ever known her positivity and compassion has been incredible and she kept me up and feeling good about myself telling me that new medications were coming and to stick with the plans which I did promising me I will get the medication and even though my medical insurance denied me they got me that medication I was one of the first people to get harvoni which costs $60,000 one pill a day saved my life and healed my liver I consistently kept going Dr marinelli has also done my colonoscopies in endoscop for the past 10 years which he found a cyst on my esophagus and sent me to Boston they removed a tumor in a cyst I believe he also saved my voice I would not have another doctor for liver or gastronom y he is the best doctor I have had in I would go to no one else I also recommend Laurie Welch for anyone who needs to speak about any liver or kidney issues she is a phenomenal doctor that did every test over and over again to make sure I had no other issues she kept me calm and again always promising we will get to the root of this and take care of it which they always did their staff is fantastic and I have never heard anybody have issues with them My own brother took care of his hepatitis c also through them Dr marinelli was always compassionate and caring of me he asked me to do a few things and I did them I asked him to save my life and he did that how much more can you ask from a doctorPatient Submitted Review

I'm really surprised to see such a horrible review for Dr. Marinelli as he is far from the least compassionate and knowledgeable doctor in his field, from my long-term experience. I smothered him with questions and he was patient with me the entire time. He took the time to explain everything to me and my options. After asking around about him, his reputation and his practice I felt VERY confident in choosing him for my procedure......and I was so right!!Finding a great doctor is liking searching for a loyal and trustworthy mechanic...so exhausting! I found Dr. Marinelli and made an appointment. I explained everything to him and he was so patient and caring. He took the time to explain all the new things with doing colonoscopy’s today.
